This traditional handcrafted spoon is a fixture in Ghanaian cooking and manufacturing. From cooking to making shea butter and kombo butter, this tool has multiple uses. It can also be used to stir soap and other handmade products in the kitchen. The Stone Pine tree, which the wood is derived from, is native to the Savanna and holds cultural importance for the community. The local people have been utilizing this wood for generations due to its durability, smooth texture, and resistance to heat, making it ideal for cooking utensils like the Banku Spoon. The local name for the Stone Pine tree is Borha Daau A unique, hand-woven creation made by artists, the¬†shapes vary and may not be as shown.¬†Every spoon is handmade with care using age-old traditions. Our refund policy is simple. We stand behind our product. You are the sole judge of your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied we will do everything we possibly can to make you satisfied. Period. That includes a full refund if you wish at 0 cost to you with a lifetime guarantee.
Baraka does not provide return shipping labels. If the customer would like to return their product they will need to provide their own shipping. Refund Policy

We try to prepare shipments to go out on next courier pickup - within 1 business day.&nbsp; &nbsp;We average over 99% success but sometimes we don't make it.
When placing an order you can select from Canada Post, DHL or FedEx, or Standard Rate.&nbsp; &nbsp;Standard Rate means that we will select the service that provides the best price/delivery time combination
Baraka Impact takes no responsibility for any losses, damages or delays that may occur. Similarly, we must be notified should additional insurance be required. Without notification we ship products without insurance. Please note that transporters often do not heat their trucks in winter, nor refrigerate them in summer. This will not harm the integrity of the product. Simply leave the product at room temperature for 24 hours before opening. Occasionally, stirring the product before use will be required to regain its consistency.
Additional Charges:
If you call the carrier to re-direct your parcel to another address, or if your address is input incorrectly or missing information, and requires the carrier to update the information, there will be a charge of between $10 and $15 (add per box) that will be billed to the customer.
Baraka Impact will not be held responsible for refunding the cost of freight for Expedited or Express shipments or on any orders that are delayed for reasons outside of our control.
